I think if you want to get more traffic,you should have good contents on your blog at first.

You can also try newsletters. It doesn't necessarily increase your traffic, but it helps your actual visitors come back to your site.

Hey great information is provided by you. Even you missed some important factors such as On-page optimization, comment posting, community posting, PR submission etc.

Regarding comment posting, I guess you were referring to blogs. You have to be careful at nofollow blogs, because although the link is visible, Google doesn't rank it. So you'll get the direct traffic, but you won't optimize the keyword.

I am also looking for fast and easy ways to bring traffic to my site. I tried several methods. Now i am using the method to sell or place classified ads on eBay with a link to your site. I think this would help me to bring traffic to my site.
