SQL ERROR: MySQL connection failed (velnet.driver.mysql) not persistent
Hello,
I've installed the bosscart but I have a errors/problem. Perhaps I've done something wrong...
When I access my main bosscart directory: http://piotrek.velnet.org.uk/bosscart/
I get error:
- BEGIN LOG ENTRY: Sun May 28 14:11:35 GMT+0100 2006
SQL ERROR: MySQL connection failed (velnet.driver.mysql) not persistent
- END LOG ENTRY
Also when I try to login as admin here: http://piotrek.velnet.org.uk/bosscart/admin/welcome
I get:

As I said I am not sure if this is my mistake or if the soft failed, but I followed the install instructions carefully...

Hello Piotrek,
Did you eneter the correct mysql username,password and database name when installing ?
If so, try using phpmyadmin to create the database bosscart and try again the install.
Dragos, Doru: Thanks for your replies. I was pretty sure I did so, as I created the database just before I run the install and chmoded the files according to the install instructions...
However, I will try again...

Thank you Doru and sorry as this was my mistake. Somehow I did not chmod the files but only chmoded the listed folders, perhaps I was tired when doing this but suspect my FTP soft to cheat meAnyway, I have set the correct values now and whooooaaa!!
