adding a new text editor

Can you please let me know how i could (or if you can) install a new text editor as my client is finding it a bit awkward to use the current.

the one i have in mind is XStandard: free standards-compliant XHTML WYSIWYG editor

I have been thinking and had a look at the latest version of fckeditor and there seems to be a marked improvement.

I was wondering how hard it would be to install the latest version of fckeditor. Would it just require me to over-right the files and folders related to fckeditor in the editors folder?
