I'm looking for a script....city shouldn't matter, script functions is what matters.

try some result at yellow page script - Google Search

I would say phpMyDirectory - Web Portal, Business Directory, Classifieds, Link Indexing is more popular so best way to choose script:
1) look all the script demo and their pagerank
2) look the script and each listing has their own title, description and meta tags edit option (if not don't choose, because search engines will not include all of your pages)
3) look each script users site and make your own judgment by templates, adds on or plugin or modes, their page rank, how many pages search engines indexed?

Buying script or buying script in good price that is not enough, but how is that script that people and search engine both would like it, that is more important.
