    Default Domain Name Re-registration

Well my domain name is up for re-registering in 90 days (a little less now) and I can't believe how expensive it is to re-register it. I'm looking to buy the name for at least a couple of years but don't want to pay a fortune to do so.

Anyone know where I can buy the domain my domain name for a few years as cost effectively as possible?

    Shouldn't be that expensive to renew. About £12 - £15 max. for a .com and about £6 - £8 for a .co.uk, if that.

You'll have to tread carefully. If you allow it to expire completely, then you risk losing it.

    Who is your current registrar?

I bought it through Canaca.com and I can't recall where they got it. They want 20 bux for each year I renew it which seems somewhat excessive to me. You can see their prices here: http://canaca.com/domain-R.htm

$20 Canadian? Sounds on the cheap side of reasonable.

Really, how can that be considered cheap when it costs less than 10 bux to register the name in the first place?

Ken, transfer the domain to godaddy.com ASAP.

    godaddy.com/gdshop/transfers/landing.asp?se=%2B&ci=182

    Thank me later.
