I would suggest to buy domain name from Godaddy. It's better to keep your domain separate from a hosting company.

I have a list of 100+ domain name related to hosting Niche, let me know if you are interested.

cheapest hosting company where i hosted, I got good services. please sales marketing niche sites.

hostmonster.com is the best (imho).
cheap and good support

I take it you are after .uk domain name, I recommend Velnet domains names, you can even get the domain name free with some of their hosting packages

I'm practicing the same but not for particular reason therefore I want to know the reason.

there is no reason to do that with good registrars.

but there are very bad registars that deletes you all domains once you cancel hosting. there is such in .co.uk zone. Client cancelled hosting because their hosting sucked but domain names he did not transfered. those idiots delted ALL his domains. so be carefull.

I register domains with 3 registars only unless it's country local domain name. I recommend Godaddy, name.com and namecheap.com but most domains i have at godaddy.com
