Online shopping is growing faster

Online shopping is growing even though things are tough for High Street retailers, according to Verdict Research's UK e-Retail 2008 report.
Verdict Research says that online spending increased by 35% to 14.7bn last year, the upward trend is expected to continue as internet access grows and consumers buy more things online more often.

It forecasts that online retail will be worth £33.9bn by 2012 and will account for 13.8% of total online spending.

Growing online shopping market is a great new for us, because those shopkeepers have at least one common distinguishing mark, they all need an excellent eCommerce software.

If anything, I have seen my sales increase slightly. Of course it's summer so I expect that but not as much because of the recession.

Excellent news for e-commerce.

i think online shopping business just growing in some countries like Europe and US.
Online shopping business still not used in many Asian country, except Japan and China.

I agree with you,I think that online shopping is growing faster in Europe and America than Asia.

In asian countries,people still prefer to go to buy things from the shop.
