Magento is great but too clunky, you can find more info about Mangento here. what are you trying to achive by the way? there are a lot of shopping carts out there, I may be able to recommend some.

I have been tempted to use Magento but have been put of by the rumours of it being a hog on bandwith. There are so many ecommerce carts on the market these days it can be very confusing as to which one to choose. I suppose there are pro's and con's associated with each and every one of them.

Personally, i would probably go for zen cart with a nice template.

Frankly speaking, I consider magento shopping cart software to be the best one... It has much better functions that OS Commerce, Cube and Zen Carts...

Magento is outdated, I prefer to use Joomla, it's better.

Joomla isn't shoping cart. Perhaps you meaned virtuemart?

Magento is an open-source e commerce web application. Each Magento translation consists of a number of CSV files.i think magento is better for E-commerce

I use Magento, paid to have it skinned to match my custom wordpress front end. Having been through this and having experience with Zen and Gold cart I must say although its powerful it comes at a price. It is complex. It can be slow and you have to work at making it speedy. It is however fully featured and current - a new version came out earlier this year. The online support is there but not as good as Zen for example.

It has some SEO holes though - google yoast to see what he says about it.

Oh its free - you just have to work at its complexity.
