I've never enjoyed navigating around paypal it has just never seemed that simple to easy navigate to what you are looking for. I always dislike these kind of commercial financial related sites. Having said that i am starting to get used to the current paypal site.
At first glance at the image you attatched i think it is looking even more grey and drab than ever but it is beta after all.

I most say I live the old one better as well

I half agree... Sure variety is the spice of life, But its routine that helps to keep you sane.

No use just making new, you have to make a marked improvement too.
