i don't really have a website....but after reading the 101 ways i really thought of buying a domain creating a website of my own.

point #43 is right, but i dont know about point #44.
Do we need to check our site with another browser too? what is it for?

You need to check your site in other browsers to ensure it display well. Sometime you can lose traffic because your site does not display properly in one of the important browsers.

45. Create a free resource that can only be accessed via your website.
46. Do not focus too much on PR, focus your attention on creating quality contents and building quality back links.

I think it depends what you say about your competitors i.e. is it true. It is really common for customers to ask "why should I use you rather than x", so you had better have a good answer if you take sales calls. What is your USP (unique selling point)? cheaper, better, faster... It is simply a case of writing this down and putting it on the Web for your visitors.
