This bit is not quite right. YES links to your site help, but the PR is simply a bt-product of the backlinks, you can't have one without the other. It is the link itself which makes the difference, not the associated pr.

This is not blackhat, I mean, think about it logically here, if having the same anchor text will get you banned, then everyone would be buying links for the opposition. Certainly if you overuse the method then some of the links might not carry weight, but it is not black hat by any means. for one thing, you can see it, and black hat is nmostly behaind the scenes stuff. Anchor text is crucial in your links, the thing to do is to vary it.

5. Avoid Link Farms: Avoid sites which offer thousands of links instantly by placing a folder on your site. This is one of the worst methods of getting linkbacks. While submitting to directories, have a close look at the PR and the quality of the backlink.

6. Make use of all tags in your pages like title, description, keywords, header 1, header 2, alt of images by focusing on 10 main keywords for optimization.

The keywords tag is totally ignored by the top 3 engines of G,Y,MSN . the other tags are more important for accesability than they are SEO, I would advise to use them though

7. Install a sitemap script for your website if it has thousands of pages and set a cron to update it daily if you wish search engine's to crawl your site regualarly. You can find many such scripts on the internet today.

Again agree 100%. The beauty about sitemaps is that they provide a way for users AND search engines to track your site.

8. Submit to as many quality directories, article sites and Press Releases as possible like this site submityourarticlesnow.com. While doing so the most important factor to remember is that all these should have a unique content and anchor text. Agree that articles are a good way of getting links and traffic, as well as building your reputation. but I have to disagree with the 'magic wand' I do seo a bit (umbrella Consultancy) http://www.google.co.uk/search?sour...ing+consultancy take a look at the site, no sign of Harry Potter there, and 100% white hat, with not a single article link pointing to it, and no large scale irectory linking either, just a couple of QUALITY links, and a lot of on topic links also.

I am not having a go at you, but would advise maybe taking on board some of the points I have raised, and maybe 'updating' your article
