The boxing world has paid tribute to legendary heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, who is 65 on Wednesday.

"He's the man I watched on TV and said 'I want to be great, just like him'.

This is a VERY principled man we are talking about. A man who had one dream, and that was to be heavyweight champion of the world. He achieved that dream, but was stripped of his title because he was unable to defend it. WHy? Because this man was prepared to go to jail rather than compromise his pacifist beliefs that war is wrong. He then left jail, and regained his title.

This is the man who brought boxing out of the streets and into a respectable position.

Boxing and rugby are my two sports worldwide.
