I wonder is that is good news or not, but I have a feeling they will be paying to advertise it soon.
I remeber the days when you pay to get a Gmail invitation

It's been available to me for about a year(at least). I wasn't invited and I've had an account since August. Although, I had to offer up a cell phone number, and verify a text message that was sent from them to validate my account.
