I have a question about Anchor text links that I hope someone can answer.

Example
I am registered on a forum and have Link Bid setup as my sig link. I then get another member of the same forum to place the same link on his/her signature but with a different anchor text e.g. Bid from £1

Would this confuse search engine bots and is there any penalties?
