Are you planning to build one of your own or use affiliate interface similar to shopping.com and nextag?

I wanted to make one few years back but never got to it...

That's a very good idea Temi, I had a similiar idea that crossed my mind a few months ago. I think that would be a great addition to the Haabaa network

Thinking of building my own, in additon to listing my own merchants, I may add feeds from some of established one you mentioned

Temi, I look forward to seeing your site up and running. Where does the site name come from? It seems quite memorable, but a bit meaningless!

    Good luck with the project.

A super idea and depending on which route you take I amy have to agree with Mars Guitars.

If you are looking to punch up the already established shopping portals then a different name including shopping may be more appropriate.

However, I can see where you are going with this - Branding with HAABAA.

All the best on your new project.

Quite agree with you, but Yahoo or Google are quite meaningless names too when they first started ..... Google in particular with their childish primary colour branding but hey, I am sure meaningless or not, you need a few Billion to buy either of those two brands today

I also challenge you to find a meaningful domain name that is available for registration without some cyber squatters asking you and arm and a leg for it.
Another reason for my 'meaningless' name is that I had not problem trademarking it at the patent and trade mark office because I actually created that word, but trade marking a word that already exist is a lot harder not to talk of all the bother you get into with bigger business (like the guy who own EasyPizza who was sued by the famous Easy group brand, though EazyPizza later won, but he had to remortgaged his house etc to pay lawyers fees to fight Easy Jet group
