Asking for Diggs on forums

This thing with private forum is a nice idea. The main reason is that some of the things members discuss should not be available to spiders or any users that is not checked. I have had a chat with a friend who also works in SEO and he had a nice idea about having a section of the forum protected, like the staff room is now. We all know that we do not like to share ALL of our secrets and if by any chance, we do, we still want our business protected.

All the forums i manage i have asked the managing team to deny access to certain areas such as the marketplace, there now all protected & we have had no problems, It also counter acts any negative affects Google has on paid links if the forums containing posts are denied to spiders also.

true and it also protects some experiments and similars. We should have something similar here, maybe after Temi comes back .....

When Temi gets back I'll ask him if we should create a VIP lounge for members with let's say 20+ posts...

I think we already have a VIP lounge for members with over 100 posts unless it has been removed.
