    Default Securing Your Web Folders

    If you have a sub-folder such as /stats/, you
    may want to think about applying Apache security on it manually, or using
    the friendly cPanel controls to create the correct .htaccess files for you.

    This way, if someone types in that URI, they will be locked out.

    yeh - dont save your passwords in password.txt either ! Just google that - its brilliant!
