Football is terrible for monetising bud. Ive had football sites for the past 4 years , a couple of them get a constant 8000 uniques aday and double that on match days. So far the best paying is google Adsense and Gambling sites.

Ive tried affiliate schemes and they just dont work imo, although im not great with affiliate schemes however so you might have more luck

but I can give you better alternative then adsense if you are willing to try

try goviral.com, unrulymedia.com and viralmanager.com
they work fine so I guess I better stick with them

try them... you will earn double, if you have UK traffic that's the best

ok ill give it ago , i suppose the only issue i might have is finding the position's to run a video ad.
