    Default Internal PR

I'm not overly fussed by PageRank but I was curious why none of my internal pages has any PR.

The homepage is PR3 but not even my top level categories show anything, just the greyed-out bar.

Any ideas why this would be?

Domain is: Catering Equipment | Restaurant Equipment | Catering Suppliers

    Thanks

Edit: Oh, the forum picks up the page title for the anchor text does it? Wondering what was going on there.

Been doing a bit of delving into why our internal pages seem to have no PR.

Our site is built in ASP and, as I understand, in ASP you can enter the upper or lowercase URL name and still get to the same page. Apparently php will return a 404 on this?

Anyway, one of our URL's is...
    Code:
    http://www.allianceonline.co.uk/Catering-Disposables.html
...notice the uppercase letters. This page has no pagerank.

    If I enter...
    Code:
    http://www.allianceonline.co.uk/catering-disposables.html
...though, I get to the same page with a PR of 1.

I imagine this isn't good as the page that is showing pagerank isn't actually linked to from anywhere on our site. I don't actually understand why that page is showing any PR if that is the case.

What can I do, if anything?

well, how long has the website gone live? Are those internal pages newly added? if so, you will need to wait for next pr update until you see some pr

And actually, nobody is really caring about pr nowadays.

I have noticed that many of my pages more than 6 months old have been without PR but are indexed in the google. I care least about the PR these days

^ This is a general trend I've seen over the past few months. For a good long time people were obsessed with PR but thankfully it's fading. I've never been all that fussed, tbh.

try to link to your internal pages from main page, and promote not only index but inner pages too, deep link directories help for that

I think you should promote your inner pages also.

Yes, agree. If your internal pages are just newly added, you need to wait for the next PR update. But if it's not, it means that you have to continue doing deep linking (getting backlinks for your subpages)
