Server location and Google rankings?
Hello guys! I am just wondering if hosting server location can have a negative impact on Google website ranking positions? If, for example, my forum is planned to be in the Russian language with .com domain extension and hosted on the US server? I am wondering if a website will be found by Russian requests in google.com.ua and google.com.ru searching engines? What are your opinions about this? Thanks in advance!

Definitely It matters,
But If you have a DOT COM domain and a UK hosting and want to perform well in Russia, you should log into your google webmaster area and set the geographic location to it. By this way google will consider your website for that particular location.
If you not hosted your site yet then I'll suggest you to opt for a host from same geographic location.

Yes, guys I have .com domain and I wish it to be found in google.com.ua under Russian requests! Could you please advise where I can log into google webmaster area to setup geographic location for a domain?
