    it's normal situation. my blog was fell from index to 1 (main) page. after adding a sitemaps many pages turns back. but not all
    look into webmaster tools, add sitemap

    i have 5310 of pages by using site: in google.
    maybe he thinking that a lot of your pages are the same?
    wasn't all the pages in index before?

    In my opinion there are two possibility. One of them, may be he is thinking that a lot of your pages are the same. In another casemay be your robots has reject some pages so you can recheck the robots file for the pages not indexed.

    it takes time to crawl each and every page ...if you have some imp pages which have not been crawled u can use them in blog commenting and forums to get them indexed very quickly...
