About LinkBacksOnce i did something similar, not exactly spam report but very similar. I reported a copyright abuse to a highly respected person, but i had a guilty conscience about it, so i won't report anything in the future.

Do you place reports ?
When you get to a website with hidded content or any other specific 'illegal' ways of getting high ranks in google do you report it ?
I used to pass near this kind of sites without asking myself this questions, but now I just see many webmasters doing it. Should I do it too ? Will it have any good effect for our sites ?

If it was not your business than you have just helped another honest webmaster. That is my opinion.

You are right, but i should have solve the problem by contacting to the cheating webmaster instead of reporting.
