Pro or Contra with Vista?
Do you like Vista, or you think that Vista is an awful version of Windows?
For me, Vista layout is good, it's better than XP.
But XP performance is still better than Vista.
Microsoft Vista still have an error / bug.

If you are just an average PC user - you may be able to live with Vista.
For professionals who is using advanced software from different vendors I would suggest to stay away for at least few more years - there is TOO many compatibility issues...
Just today my friend could not install Nero that he bought less than a year ago on new Windows Vista laptop.

vista is more on entertainment while xp is good in programming and other third party softwares.
