Welcome to the May 2008 issue of UK Webmaster World forum newsletter. Just as we were going to press with this newsletter, an even some webmaster consider significant happened; PR update. Last month saw the conclusion of our 3 months long SEO 2008 contest, the winners were announced on the 1st of April. UK WW conducted an interview with the winner and the runner up. Promoting your website
One topic that occurs again and again from both newbies and experienced webmasters alike is the issue of getting more traffic to your site. Some of UK WW members have been giving different tips on how to promote a website. Roo, a senior member swears by Squidoo, he has even created a UK WW Squidoo group, the group helps people who are looking for additional ways to promote their website.

Finally, we have a new forum called 'Spotlight On' . You are welcomed to use this forum to focus spotlight on your site, yourself or a site you like.
