Naaaaa, it's gotta be the Muro. Never liked him -ever. However, England need someone who does not care who the player is, how much money or power the players have and can kick their asses or drop them at a moments notice.

He is the man to do that. MURO for England.

He does not know how to develop talent, he only buy established players. We need someone who can get the max out of established English players and help nurture budding talents.

Someone who is also a team player, if Muro is appointed, England will will be shopping for a new manager in the not too distant future.

Paul Jewel is a good talent spotter. Not sure if he is still in the hunt.

Interestingly there was an article on the BBC website looking into Roy Hodgeson as the next international manager. You'll either say "Who?" or "What's he done?". Truth be told, he took Finland from European whipping boys to the brink of qualification in Euro 2008, so who knows!

Yes, but developing is done by clubs. The England manager is there to get the players playing and make them confident.

He had quite a distinguished managerial career, though mainly in the scandanavian countries.

He did manage Blackburn for about a year though, and was ex internazionale twice. But he's been a better international manager, and is adept at turning rubbish teams into decent teams (a la Guus Hiddink).

Whether he can do the same at the highest level remains to be seen.
