The validity of the certification is for life time. In your resume you will mention that you are QTP certified and QC certified. You do not need to again sit for the exam. See the point is when a new version of the software comes you just need to upgrade yourself technically. in the interview no body is going to check if you have given the exam again but they will check if you have knowledge in the latest version of the software.
