    I'm not very good at the skin editing, especially not on forums. I have a bad eye for that, I always mix the colours on a bad way. Good to know that you're good at it

    haha trust me its take me a while but i normally end up with what i want and if its not i normally end up redesigning it all again the next week

    I see, mine always end up bad. I really like the default vB theme, customized of course with a complete new header, that looks very good!

    However; I always end up buying a skin due to my bad skinning

    Thanks for your input! I agree with you that the best way to gain a successful community is by having a good board configuration, good management (one of the most important factors, users do not want to feel ignored!) and of course, useful FAQ's is a great addition.
