Firstly, it is nice looking.
Secondly, I don't know why you don't use description tags
Lastly, workpress does well for SEO purpose just as html based sites.

The design is not bad but...

.COM is what you need. It's way stronger message than all the other TLDs combined.

It does give a very creative look and feel and I like the image / text rollover in the boxes. I don't think a .net is in any way at disadvantage over a .com though - usa.net did thriving business in ol days in email services just as an example of how .net does as compared to .com domains.
