    Smile problem with xhtml

    once xhtml design is done if i want to add any thing on the top or left or botton is it possible. Because it is said that one you are done with the xhtml template to add or delete something you need to redesign it. Is this info is correct.

    Not in the sense that you need to start all over, simply removing a division header, footer, or whatever. Wouldn't be any harder then in HTML, you should note that XHTML is just HTML in XML, and the actual benefits from using it are almost non existent.

    However by altering the markup or the CSS, you are redesigning either sections, or the whole layout. But so would you be doing in HTML, as such there is little difference.

    Just remember to serve your XHTML with the correct mime-type, and avoid serving it as normal text/html.
